# Email

> Connect the firm's mailbox to receive and answer email from Juryo

Connect the firm's email so incoming messages appear in the **Inbox**, routed to the agent you choose.

## Connect a mailbox

<Steps>
  <Step title="Add the address">
    Go to **Settings → Integrations**, section **Channel routing**, and click **Add address**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Configure the mailbox">
    Choose **Email** and enter the firm's address (e.g. `hello@yourfirm.com`). Under **Route to agent**, pick who handles that mailbox (or **No agent — manual only**).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Create the mapping">
    Click **Create mapping**, then **Connect Gmail** on the new row.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Authorize with Google">
    Authorize access with your Google account. On return, the row shows **Gmail linked**.
  </Step>
</Steps>

If the status changes to **Expired**, click **Reconnect**.

## How it works

* Incoming email to that address creates or continues conversations in the [Inbox](/en/help/inbox), with the channel marked as email.
* When you reply from Juryo, the message goes out from the connected address (you'll see **Send from** {address} in the composer).
* You can have several addresses, each routed to a different agent — for example, `info@` to the qualifying agent and `clients@` to customer service.

<Note>
  Connecting Gmail here also enables **Import from Gmail** in [Contacts](/en/help/contacts).
