# Contacts

> The firm's address book: clients and leads with their activity

**Contacts** is the firm's address book: every person with their email and phone, and at a glance how many opportunities and conversations they have.

## The table

Columns: **Name**, **Contact** (email and phone), **Added**, **Last Activity**, **Opps** (linked opportunities) and **Convos** (conversations). Search accepts name, email or phone. The counters update on their own as calls, messages and opportunities come in.

## Add and edit

* **Add Contact** — first name required, plus at least an email or phone.
* **Import from Gmail** — brings in your Google contacts at once. Requires Gmail connected in **Settings → Integrations**.
* Click a name to edit its details.
* Each row's **⋮** menu: **Contact** (opens email or call), **Copy email**, **Copy phone**, **Delete**.

If you try to create a duplicate you'll see "A contact with this email or phone already exists".

## Sales engagement

On each contact's panel you can switch **Sales engagement** between:

* **Active** — agents and automations can reach out normally.
* **Service only** — AI agents and automations stop contacting this person about sales. Service and active matters are not affected.

Use it when someone asks not to be contacted commercially but remains a client.
